The vision of Sensory Food Network Ireland is to be recognised for delivering a comprehensive and excellent sensory science service to the food and beverage industry in Ireland by setting, maintaining and upgrading standards, by fostering collaboration between industry and research organisations and by driving performance improvements throughout the network.

• To identify and adhere to the highest standard of good practice by all network partners
• To ensure that the network provides a comprehensive, benchmarked sensory science service to the food and beverage industry in Ireland and abroad
• To support basic research and further develop Ireland's research capability in sensory science
